Of Burning Shuls and Hot Air

:) As shuls burn in Gaza and a rocket falls at Sderot, billows of hot air emitted by Mofaz.

"Without specifying, Mofaz warned that the Palestinians "fully understand that as of September 12, 2005, Israel's policy against Kassam rocket fire has changed." The IDF would respond to attacks with zero tolerance, Mofaz said. "We have no rules of thumb when it comes to our responses, but I recommend that we make use of the full tool-box available to the IDF," he added.

Hours earlier, however, Palestinians fired a Kassam rocket at the Sderot area, just as Israel was completing its final withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

The rocket landed in an open area, and no one was wounded in the attack, Israel Radio reported.

OC Southern Command Maj.-Gen. Dan Harel called the attack a violation of the Palestinians' commitment to ensure security."
